Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal

 

Award Ceremony for six of seven recipients was held at the monthly Honor Flight luncheon at the Moose Lodge on SR 44 in Leesburg on October 12th.

Five of the seven veterans that received the medal were Willam Bradford, Andrew “Jack” Cleveland, Edward Nowatkowski, John Tobia and daughter of deceased veteran Duane Dow accepted his medal. One veteran; Willard “Kit” Kittrell who couldn’t attend was awarded his medal at our Chapters October 24th meeting at Saddlebrook Recreation Center. Also, Jimmy Corbet deceased, his medal will be delivered to his wife. 

We have veterans who’s application is being sent to the Korean Consulate in Atlanta, GA. for processing and we’ll wait for their medals to be sent to back to us so we can then have their awards ceremony.
