Our next chapter meeting is on March 25, at Saddlebrook Recreation Center, 3010 Saddlebrook Lane, The Villages. At this meeting, we will have a guest speaker who is a Korean War Veteran, USAF Sgt. Jack Morris who will give us his story of being in 363 Reconnaissance Technical Squadron; Aerial photography.
The next breakfast social will be on April 2nd at BoB Evans 2199 Parr Drive, The Villages. at 9 am.
Tell America Program, is a video presentation to educate students in the surrounding schools about Korea’s history and mainly about the Korean War, which has often been referred to as “The Forgotten War”. This program is to ensure it’s not forgotten. Many students don’t know about the Korean War and that it is a part of our countries history. This program should start up again in 2025. Ambassador for Peace Medal awarded by the South Korean Government that is entitled to any war veteran that served in Korea between June 1950 to July 1953 either on the ground, in the waters or in the air around Korea. Please bring a copy of your DD-214 to our monthly meetings in Saddlebrook Rec. Center 3010 Saddlebrook Lane, The Villages, always the fourth Tuesday of each month or bring it to the breakfast social at Bob Evans 2199 Parr Drive, The Villages, always the first Wednesday of each month so you can fill out the application that will be submitted to the Korean Consulate in Atlanta, GA.
