Note: We will not a chapter meeting in November or December due to the dates are close to Holidays. 

We will have our monthly breakfast, on November 5th and always the first Wednesday of each month. At Bob Evans, 360 Colony Blvd. The Villages. In the Colony Plaza shopping center. We have the room reserved and a dedicated waitress to serve us.

Our Chapter’s annual Christmas party is going to be a luncheon at Sawgrass Tavern, at 12:30 pm on December 5th and just like last years luncheon, we will pick from the restaurants menu and pay individually. This year we will be inside and enjoy the warmth friendship of veterans. Please response to the email I sent out about attending the luncheon, to my email; jwack47@gmail.com. Final cutoff for attending the luncheon is November 21st.

Tell America Program, is a video presentation to educate students in the surrounding schools about Korea’s history and mainly about the Korean War, which has often been referred to as “The Forgotten War”. This program is to ensure it’s not forgotten. Many students don’t know about the Korean War and that it is a part of our countries history. This program should start up again in 2025.  The Video is now on our website.  https://www.kwva169.org

Ambassador for Peace Medal awarded by the South Korean Government that is entitled to any war veteran that served in Korea between June 1950 to July 1953 either on the ground, in the waters or in the air around Korea. Please bring a copy of your DD-214 to our monthly meetings in Saddlebrook Rec. Center 3010 Saddlebrook Lane, The Villages, always the fourth Tuesday of each month or bring it to the breakfast social at Bob Evans 2199 Parr Drive, The Villages,  always the first Wednesday of each month so you can fill out the application that will be submitted to the Korean Consulate in Atlanta, GA.
